Davide Bedin

Davide Bedin is passionate about cloud native architectures, with a strong and relevant experience on cloud platforms.

Previously, as CTO of an ISV, he led the significant transformation process with the aim of creating new solutions based on the Microsoft Azure cloud focusing on the evolution of distributed computing towards service-oriented architectures and, ultimately, on microservices, spending most of his developer career building web services.

As a Cloud Solution Architect at Microsoft, he is now responsible for guiding and supporting corporate clients in adopting the cloud paradigm, a key factor in their digital transformation; lately he is also delighting with Dapr.

He wrote the book "Practical Microservices with Dapr and .NET", published by Packt in December 2020.

Bruno Legeard, Julien Botella

Bruno Legeard is Professor of Software Engineering at the University of Franche-Comté and Scientific Advisor of Smartesting. He has been working for several years on the application of Machine Learning techniques for test generation. He was also one of the contributors to the ISTQB AI Testing syllabus.

With 15 years of experience in Model-Based Testing at Smartesting, Julien Botella is now in charge of the Gravity product, as well as collaborative research projects, especially around AI techniques for testing. Within the framework of the PHILAE research project, and the Gravity product, he is working on the ability to create automated regression tests from user journeys and logs.

Giandomenico Nollo is Associate Professor of Bioengineering (Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Trento). He deals with the development, integration and characterization of health technologies. He has conceived and led national and international research projects for the development and clinical application of advanced technologies, in collaboration with academia, industries and health facilities. Founder of the Società Italiana di Health Technology Assessment (SIHTA), he currently holds the position of Deputy Vice President.

Salvatore Reale

Salvatore Reale has more than thirty years of experience, in particular in the software factory for large companies, where he worked until 2010 as Director and VP in Research & Development, with responsibility for the software product line. Certified Scrum Master since 2008, Salvatore is one of the first in Italy to be certified as a Scrum Professional by Scrum Alliance®. Currently, as a freelancer, he provides Management Consulting, Training and Coaching services to companies in Italy and abroad.
Salvatore was co-founder in 2007, and is currently a member of the Executive Committee of ITA-STQB, the association that certifies ICT professionals in software engineering in Italy.
He was Vice President of REQB®, founded by a group of international experts with the aim of creating a standard framework for Requirements Engineering activities. As part of this role, he directly coordinated the drafting of the syllabus for the REQB Agile Practitioner certification, introduced worldwide in 2015 and then merged into IREB® in 2017.

Elena Treshcheva is a Program Manager and Researcher at Exactpro, a specialist firm focused on functional and non-functional testing for market infrastructures.

Elena’s research interests lie in the area of software testing and its intersection with emerging technologies, such as AI & ML and distributed ledger technologies (DLT), as well as in the broader topic of operational resilience of the financial markets, where she also has a scientific review experience. At the company, she manages external communication, participates in academic and industry research as well as Exactpro’s educational initiatives, and manages a technical documentation project. 

Elena is also a part of the Organizing Committee of the 2021 IEEE Autonomous Driving AI Test Challenge, held as part of The Third IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Testing.

After a circuitous route into IT, Keith Yorkston has spent the last 21 years involved with software quality and risk. Cutting his teeth early in performance testing before good books were written on the subject, Keith went on to work as a consultant and trainer across the world, covering the end-to-end journey of software quality. He currently works as an independent consultant and trainer specializing in performance and security.
